Job Details

We have an internship position for a software engineering student that wants to learn, directly build, or assist in software development. Next to a possible internship project by your academic instition, you'll be able to build features, expand the product, and learn different skillsets related to building a great product in a growing start-up. You'll work directly with other software engineers, and designers to build towards the goals of XFA. A permanent position is a possibility if there is a fit between you and the team.

About XFA

Founded in 2021 by experts in cybersecurity, XFA is revolutionizing how organizations make sure everybody works on a safe device (laptop, phone, tablet, etc.). XFA's innovative technology acts as an extra (authentication) factor to verify device security settings before devices get access the organization's digital workspace. XFA is growing and we need ambitious and capable people to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve bugs and build new features in the software.
  • Collaborate within a small software team of a growing startup.
  • Write automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
  • Be involved in all aspects of software development, from design to deployment into the cloud.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a software engineering or computer science related study.
  • Strong communication skills. (English is a requirement)
  • Interest in technology and security.
  • Experience with Golang, React, or Flutter is a plus.
