About XFA

XFA is a cybersecurity technology company established in September 2021 by Lars Veelaert, a former cybersecurity advisor, and Gijs Van Laer, who holds a Ph.D. in cryptography and data security from Johns Hopkins University in the USA.

United by a shared vision for modernizing cybersecurity practices, they set out to address a common challenge they encountered in their daily work: securing all devices within their organization. Recognizing this challenge was not unique to their situation, they later transformed their shared idea into the company known as XFA.

XFA brings cutting-edge and innovative cybersecurity practices to every organization to aid with adapting to the new way of work. The startup has been active with various clients since April 2022 and raised their first round of funding in November 2023.
