Download XFA for your device

The XFA app checks your device's security settings and shows you what to fix. Install it with one click, or one command on Linux. You need no account and no admin rights.

Download for macOS

Installer for Mac (.pkg). No admin rights needed.

Other platforms

Run this in your terminal. It installs XFA in your user folder, so it needs no root.

curl -fsSL https://distribution.xfa.tech/xfa-native-desktop-application/install.sh | sh

On your own, or with your team

It is the same app either way. The only difference is who sees whether your device passes its checks.

On your own, for free

Using XFA just for yourself? There is nothing to set up. The app checks your device as soon as it is installed.

  • Checks settings such as disk encryption, screen lock, and operating system updates
  • Shows what needs attention and walks you through the fix
  • Does not collect your files, messages, or browsing history

Share your security status with your organization

Your organization sees whether your device passes its checks. XFA does not collect your files, messages, or browsing history.

  1. The easiest way is to sign in to a work app your organization protects with XFA. The sign-in page does the rest.
  2. Got an invitation email? Open it on this device and click its link.
  3. No invitation? In the app, choose Connect with email, or Connect with organization on a phone. Enter your work email, then the code XFA sends you.

Start free for your team

Create an organization and connect your identity provider. XFA then checks each device when its owner signs in to work apps.

Free to start, with no cap on how many people you add.
